About seven and a half miles to the east of Lake Elsinore you will find one of only five truly gated cities in California – Canyon Lake
. Accessible only to its residents and their visitors, Canyon Lake is a master-planned community in which homeowners are considered shareholders of the town corporation. Amenities in Canyon Lake include an equestrian center, tennis courts, a golf course and neighborhood parks. The Property Owners Association manages day to day operations of the community, and the necessary services are located on the outer edge of the East Gate and the South Gate.
Canyon Lake is about 20 minutes north of Temecula.
